VERSION 2.0 · OCTOBER 2026The club rules.
A few clear rules so everyone plays well. They apply to anyone who books a court, joins a match or takes a lesson.
05 / SAN MICHELECourtesy translation: the Italian version is the only binding text.
01Who can play
- Sporting activities organised by ASD San Michele Padel (lessons, courses, training sessions, tournaments and any competitive activity) are reserved exclusively for members of ASD San Michele Padel who hold a currently valid medical certificate of fitness for sport (non-competitive or competitive, depending on the activity).
- Members must give the club a copy of their medical certificate and renew it before it expires. With an expired certificate it is not possible to take part in any ASD activity until the new certificate is handed in.
- Non-members may only rent courts from San Michele Padel SRL for free play. Non-members may under no circumstances take part in lessons, courses, tournaments or other competitive activities.
- ASD San Michele Padel and San Michele Padel SRL are separate entities: membership is taken out with the ASD, court rental is with the SRL.

02Court access
- Court access is allowed for a maximum of 4 people per court for every hour and a half, unless otherwise explicitly agreed.
- Court access is allowed for players wearing suitable sportswear and the racket safety strap. A player who does not wear the strap is responsible for any damage caused to themselves and to others. Should a player refuse to wear the strap, after the second warning they may be asked to leave the club and must pay the court fees of the other players who were unable to play the match because of their behaviour.
- Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Dogs and other pets must be kept on a lead in the reception area. In the case of animals behaving dangerously or disruptively, the club reserves the right to ask anyone who does not respect this rule to leave; the offender must also cover the court fees of those who were unable to play the match because of the breach.
03“Private” (or “non-public”) single bookings
All bookings where the holder takes care of finding the other three players on their own.
- Cancellation: the court can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the start of the booking.
What happens if, with less than 48 hours to go, you realise you won’t be able to keep the booking?
- The booking holder must take care of finding replacements, and may also use the club’s WhatsApp group if they wish.
- If the booking holder does not find replacements, they owe the club a €50 penalty fee.
04“Open” (or “public”) single bookings
All bookings where the holder needs one or more players to complete the match.
Prerequisites. For these rules, which are more flexible than those for a “private” booking, to apply:
- the match must be opened via the app straight away, at the time of booking;
- the match must be open to at least three different playing levels from the time of booking, and the levels cannot be changed afterwards.
If prerequisites 1 and 2 are not met, the club accepts no responsibility if the match does not fill up, and it is treated in every respect as a “private” booking.
The same rules as for a “private” match apply. However, if the match has not filled up and the holder has met both prerequisites, any registered player can cancel it with no penalty fee when less than 5 hours remain before the start.
Please note. Until the match has its full 4 players, anyone who has joined can withdraw freely. Once the match is full, you are committed to being there. If a player can no longer take part in a full match and does not find a replacement, they must pay not only their own share but also those of the other players.
05Lessons and courses
- Lessons and courses are reserved for members of ASD San Michele Padel with a currently valid medical certificate (see Who can play).
- Cancellation: lessons can be cancelled up to 96 hours (4 days) before the start. Courses cannot be cancelled.
What happens if, with less than 96 hours to go, you realise you won’t be able to keep a lesson booking?
- The booking holder must take care of finding replacements, and may also use the club’s WhatsApp group if they wish.
- If the booking holder does not find replacements, they owe the club a €60 penalty fee.
